When should I place my trash on the curbside?
We recommend that you place your trash on the curbside no later than 4:00 a.m. on the morning of your collection day.
What happens if my pick-up day is on a holiday?
If the holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, generally all collections are moved one day back for that week. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be no change to your collection schedule. MO-ARK Disposal LLC observes six major holidays: New Year’s, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas
Does the trash in my container need to be bagged?
Yes, your trash needs to be bagged even when inside of the garbage container. Not only does this make your driver's stop quicker, it helps to keep our drivers safe from harmful materials that could be loose inside of the container!
What is not allowed in my garbage container?
We do not accept: paint, oils, batteries, tires, appliances, animal carcasses, or yard debris. There will be an additional charge if there are unacceptable waste in your container.
What if I have extra bags?
Typically we pick up no more than 5 (13 gallon) bags per household. Have more than this? Contact our office and see what we can work out!
Will you pick up larger items? And when?
If you find yourself with large items that are not included in your normal pick up but still need to rid of it, call our office at least 24 hours in advance of your pickup day! We do have the ability to take heavy items on your normal trash pickup day (sometimes with a different vehicle depending on the item). There is a nominal fee for the special pickup based on the type of item.
